Firefighters lead three people to safety after two-vehicle collision on M6

Firefighters led three casualties to safety after a two-vehicle accident on the M6 northbound. 

One fire engine from Sandbach, one from Middlewich and another from Crewe went to the scene just before Junction 16 on Sunday (March 31st) at 8.42 pm.  

A Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A road traffic collision on the M6 northbound, just before junction 16, saw firefighters attend to deal with a two-vehicle collision. 

"They led three casualties to safety and made the scene safe before leaving around 40 minutes later."
