A Sandbach school is celebrating – after work to install new windows and revamp the front of the building has been completed.

Sandbach High School and Sixth form College in Middlewich Road was awarded around £1million of funding from the DfE's Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) 2022/2023.

It used the money to install smart new windows at the front and put a new roof on as we revealed here

The windows are made from special glass which keeps the heat in during winter months and cools rooms down during the summer.

Headteacher, Ellen Walton said: "So much brilliant work goes on inside the school we wanted to make sure the front reflected this.

"The windows are brilliant. The school's blue colour palette has been used and the result looks so good."
