Vehicle mechanic
First Military Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic in Sandbach and is keen to offer opportunities to ex-military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major repairs on HGV's
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on HGV's, including inspection, tyre rotation and oil changes
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with the HGV's and plan repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on HGV's
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on the HGV's
- Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
- Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and customer-demanding situations
- Ability to perform well independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written or spoken instructions
- Ability to work under tight instructions and concentrate over long periods of time
- Excellent understanding of vehicle technology
- A strong commitment to the industry and keen knowledge of the latest technology relating to HGVs
- Keen awareness of health and safety standards of vehicles
- Excellent problem-solving and practical skills
- Category C+E Licence is advantageous
- Physically Fit

Supply nursery practitioners

Part-time project administrator
This Sandbach-based role attracts a salary of up to £25,000 per annum prop rata with 20 hours per week over five days.
The hours are 8.30 am until 12.30pm or 9.30 am until 1.30 pm.
Responsibilities and key tasks:
- Take ownership of any project related correspondence utilizing internal systems to ensure the deadlines are met
- Monitor project correspondence- respond, advise and keep the key stakeholders (external and internal) informed as appropriate
- Report progress on the project to the Technical Customer Support Manager.
- Administration of Product Database
- Deal with any project enquiries within the required time scales, liaise with the other members of the Project Team as appropriate
- Compliance with the internal processes and procedures.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate administrative project-related records (input and maintain all the data and essential information on service users).
- Produce information from spreadsheets and databases.
- Maintain documentation through all stages of the project Lifecyle

Primary Teaching Assistant

SME Account Handler
This Sandbach role has a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
The role is for a commercial account handler ideally with a minimum of two years SME or corporate experience.
The candidate must have some commercial i.e. commercial motor or perhaps property experience and has started their CII exams and is hoping to continue with them.
The role will be to work in the commercial mid market division of this long standing brokerage and deal with renewals, mid-term adjustment and all aspects of administration.
There may be some new business broking but there will not be any targeted sales at all. They may also consider a HYBRID role for the candidate with the relevant experience
Knowledge of the ACTURIS system is highly advantageous as is CII progression
