Football fans to pay their respects to 11-year-old Crewe Alex fan who died in collision near Sandbach

Crewe Alex Fans will pay their respects at tomorrow's match against Walsall to an 11-year-old Sandbach school boy and football fan who sadly died in a road collision.
A Crewe Alex scarf is tied around the lamp post near the scene of the collision in Booth Lane, Moston along with footballs, flowers, cards and messages paying tribute to the youngster.
A football shirt has been fixed to the back of the road sign and friends and residents have left several messages, including one which says "Rest in Peace my angel" while another says "Going to miss you so much - fly high mate."
The boy, who hasn't been offically named, was a student at Sandbach School and was a keen Crewe Alex supporter and football fan who loved the sport.

A post on the Crewe Alex supporters' page said: "Sadly a young kid lost his life at the young age of 11. He loved football and played for Crewe atheletic.
"He also sat in the Gresty Road end while watching Crewe so Crewe Alex fans can we all give him a minute plause so he can hear us. Please share this far and wide."
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and footage following a fatal collision in Middlewich.
A police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 2.15pm on Monday (28th April), police were called to reports of a collision in Booth Lane, Moston, Middlewich, near to the junction with Tetton Lane.
"The collision involved a black Fiesta ST and a pedal cyclist.
"The cyclist, an 11-year-old boy from Middlewich, suffered serious injuries. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"Two 19-year-old men from Stoke-on-Trent were arrested in relation to the incident. The driver of the Fiesta was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
"The passenger was arrested on suspicion of aiding/abetting dangerous driving. They have since been released on bail."
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a Black Seat Leon and a Black Ford Fiesta travelling in close proximity on the A533 from Sandbach in the direction of Middlewich between 2pm and 2.15pm on Monday 28 April.
As part of enquiries, police are also urging anyone who may also have any CCTV or dashcam footage of these vehicles to get in touch with them.
