A new marketing agency has launched in the area and is already working with a Sandbach-based business.

Founded by three young Cheshire-based entrepreneurs, 80 Four specialises in sport, health and lifestyle branding and brand strategy and has already worked with a number of notable names.

Matt King and James Parker-Aiken and Emily Martin, the latter two from Sandbach, have set up 80 Four – the name of which is inspired by their combined ages at the time of founding.

Their mission is to build and develop brands that "cut through the noise with clarity, creativity and commercial impact".

Since launching earlier this year, they have already worked with Cheshire-based padel club – The Padel Den in Sandbach, sports nutrition brand, Pursuit and the Mid Mercia arm of UK-based charity, Citizen's Advice.

Together, the trio bring over 30 years of combined experience - each adding a distinct edge to the business. James heads up the creative, with a background in design, creative direction.

Matt leads digital delivery and strategy, having worked with leading UK fashion brands like The Couture Club, Gym King and European sports giant, American Golf.

Emily brings 15+ years in PR, with the latter part of her career focused on brand strategy, agency leadership and client relations.

Emily said: "We created 80 Four because we saw a gap between what brands wanted to say and how they were showing up. Too many businesses have incredible stories but struggle to connect that to a clear identity or consistent strategy.

"80 Four is about bridging that gap - helping brands in sport, health and lifestyle elevate how they present themselves, communicate their value and grow with confidence.

"We're not here to be another agency doing more of the same. We want to be a true partner to the brands we work with - challenging ideas, sparking creativity and helping them see what's possible when strategy and design work together. The goal is simple: to make great brands impossible to ignore."

Alongside it's 80 Four offering, the company has also developed 80 Four+, a marketing subscription platform that gives small teams and solo brands access to expert strategy, tools and resources.

The platform is currently completely free to use while it is in beta testing and is due to launch its paid model in January 2026.

The young entrepreneurs were recently recognised as finalists in the Start Up of the Year category at Circle Networks Live in Birmingham last month.
