Organisers of a rock and pop festival are gearing up for their biggest show yet and have announced there will be two stages with bumper fun for all the family.

Sandbach Rock and Pop Festival features 15 acts and is described by organiser Andy Milner as a "freedom festival" with family orientated acts giving non-stop fun.

His aim is to provide as much fun as possible for people to "let their hair down" after the restrictions of lockdown.

One of the stages at the event, which takes place on Saturday 24th July, is the Patryk Memorial stage and all profits from the event will go to the fund.

And show goers have a chance to grab special early bird tickets today (July 14th) for the event which takes place at Sandbach Rugby Football Club in Bradwall Road.

The seven-year-old, Andy's son, fell ill while at school and was air-lifted to Leighton Hospital in Crewe before being transferred to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool where he tragically passed away.

Andy wants to raise as much money as possible from the event which sees a variety of acts from a Robbie Williams tribute, Nicola T as BEYONCE, Victoria Jones as KYLE, Northern Echos, Pure Paloma and The Mad Dog Davies.

He said: "I want everyone to have a really good time in a fun environment. Lots of the acts are family orientated. The aim is to raise as much money as possible.

The event was due to take place earlier this month but has been rearranged to July 24th. Tickets are available from Eventbrite.
