A Sandbach bar with 'six' in its name is celebrating its sixth birthday.

Bar Six in Market Square is celebrating and its owners are promising an event to mark the moment.

The bar says on Facebook: "We've had thousands of you through our doors since the beginning so we would like to say a massive thank you to all our customers old and new who have supported us.

"It only seems right that we throw a bit of a bash for our sixth birthday, so keep your eyes peeled for updates and celebrate with us!"
