Harry Styles attends former One Direction band mate Liam Payne's funeral
Holmes Chapel's Harry Styles has attended the funeral of his former One Direction band mate, Liam Payne.
Liam Payne, 31, died at a hotel in Argentina after falling from a third-floor balcony last month (October).
Harry joined former bandmates, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan and Liam's family and friends to attend the funeral at St Mary the Virgin Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire yesterday (Wednesday).
Harry and Liam Payne were both members of One Direction before going on to have solo careers. Harry sporting a moustache, beard and sunglasses, looked visibly moved as he arrived for the funeral.
Harry's began his musical career in 2010 as part of One Direction, the boy band formed on the music competition series The X Factor.
They became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time with Styles later after going solo bringing out one of the world's top ten best-selling albums of the year, with its lead single Sign of the Times topping the UK singles chart.
Styles has received various accolades during his career, including six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards and three MTV Video Music Awards.
Harry went to Hermitage Primary School before attending Holmes Chapel and used to catch the train from Holmes Chapel station to attend interviews at the X-Factor.
There's a 'Harry's home village' walking tour which takes fans past W Mandeville bakery, where he worked as a teen, and Fortune City Chinese - where he once took Taylor Swift.
Inside the bakery, there is a life-sized photo of Harry and fans can buy wooden spoons, sweets and aprons as keepsakes.
Fans can sign their name at Twemlow Viaduct – where Harry, once signed his name in One Direction's biopic 'This is Us'.
A railway worker who often saw Harry off on his train to London from Holmes Chapel station during his One Direction days was nominated for an award as we revealed here
