Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, November 22nd

Godfrey C. Williams & Sons has its annual 'A Taste of Christmas' food and drink fair at St Mary's Church Hall from 4 pm until 8 pm. There will be more than 20 stalls with local and award-winning producers of cheeses, chocolate, pies, beer, gin and more!

Sandbach's Saxon Players open with their latest production 'Mad Gary's Curly Wurly' at Sandbach Masonic Hall at 7 pm. This comedy murder mystery provides plenty of laughs and an opportunity for audience participation as the suspects are selected from members of the audience. Tickets are £10 and available here

Fancy getting your weekend off to a great start? The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'. A chance to get out of the cold and warm up with some tasty food.

Meanwhile at Sandbach Rugby Club, Andrea's AMMF Army Charity Christmas Crazy Bingo takes place raising money for a rare type of bile duct cancer Cholangiocarcinoma. Sandbach's Andrea Sheardown, who survived the cancer, continues to raise money for the charity as we revealed here

Do you like craft beer? Sandbach Craft Beer Trail runs from Friday 22nd until Sunday (November 24th) and features six venues - The Military Arms, Welles & Cross, the Beer Emporium, Bar Six, The Cobbles and the Old Hall. You buy one beer at each venue and collect six stamps on your event card to claim a free beer.

Saturday, November 24th

Sandbach United's first team are away to New Mills with a 3 pm kick-off.

Fancy some live music, The Swan & Chequers has acoustic duo Ant Clowes Music playing from 9pm. Acoustic covers of rock, pop, country, movies and musicals favourites spanning the decades. All done in their own unique inimitable style!

And you can take advantage of their Saturday offers - four shots for £10, cask ale £3.50, cocktail of the week £7 or two for £11. Don't miss out!
