Local man arrested following assault incident at Haslington property

A local man has been arrested on suspicion of assault, following an incident outside a Haslington home where he made threats towards an occupant.

On Sunday 28 April, Cheshire Police received reports of a disturbance on Crewe Road, Haslington.

At 1am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a man had been banging on a house door, making threats to a person inside.

The Crewe man, 37, was arrested on suspicion of assault, following the incident in Haslington (Nub News).

Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Crewe at the scene. He has since been released on conditional bail.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 1am on Sunday 28 April, police were called to reports of an incident on Crewe Road, Haslington. 

"The caller reported that the suspect was banging on the door and that a number of threats were made towards the occupant.

"Officers attended and a 37-year-old man Crewe was arrested on suspicion of assault.

A 37-year-old man from Crewe has since been released on conditional bail (Cheshire Police).

"He has since been released on conditional bail."
