Local sports company is accepted to join major body to help the company grow further

A Middlewich-based sports business with a base in Sandbach has been accepted to join a major body in the world of physical education in schools.
The Sports Coaching Group has been accepted as a Business Associate Member of the Association for Physical Education (afPE).
The organisation puts physical education at the heart of school life - a goal very much shared by the Sports Coaching Group which delivers sports programmes and holiday clubs across a range of schools in the area.
The Sports Coaching Group, based on the Brooks Lane Industrial estate in Middlewich, has a hub at Unit 2, Elton Garage in Moston Road, Ettiley Heath.
They said the move is a "significant milestone which underscores the organisation's dedication to delivering high-quality physical education and school sport across the UK".
Chris Regan, Operations Director for Sports Coaching Group, said: "This is a proud moment for our company."
To gain afPE membership, organisations must demonstrate a strong commitment to physical education through their professional standards, qualifications, development programmes, and contributions to the sector.
As a Business Associate Member, Sports Coaching Group now joins a respected network of educators, practitioners, and sector leaders who are united by a shared vision: to improve the quality and impact of physical education in schools and beyond.
