Voters in the Sandbach Heath and East ward are going to the polls shortly.

Sandbach Town Council is holding a by-election for the Sandbach Heath and East ward on Thursday, May 1st.

There are four candidates fighting for a seat on Sandbach Town Council:

Sarah Bradley, Independent

James Smith, Liberal Democrats

Colin Storey, Labour Party

Will Taylor, Reform UK

Sandbach Town Council is made up of 20 councillors across four wards - Town Ward, Sandbach Heath and East Ward, Ettiley Heath and Wheelock Ward and Elworth Ward.  

Councillors are elected by public vote every four years. Any vacancies occurring outside of the four yearly election may be filled by co-option or a by-election.
