M6 bridge fall motorist is released from hospital - just hours after incident

A motorist who was airlifted to hospital after his Vauxhall Corsa fell from the bridge across the motorway in Sandbach has been released from hospital.

Police have not released any more details but say the man was released from hospital at 12.30 am on Tuesday (June 27th). He was airlifted to hospital following the incident at 1.10 pm on Monday.

Sandbach Nub News told here how was closed for a while on Monday (June 26th) after the incident happened at 1.10 pm.

We also told here how emergency barrier repairs had been carried out on the bridge along the A534 Congleton Road following the incident.
