A major British fashion retailer is planning to close a Cheshire town centre store - aiming to relocate to a different unit within the town.

Select Fashion, Earle Street, placed closing down signs in its shop windows on Wednesday (February 22).

Smaller signs have also been placed in the shop windows saying it will be relocating to another unit in Crewe.

Select Fashion has placed posters saying it plans to relocate to another unit in Crewe (Nub News).

On social media, a worker at Crewe's Select Fashion confirmed there was no official closing date yet.

They said: "There's not a date yet for anyone wanting to know, we are looking at relocating, it does state on the posters."

The worker said Select was unsure where it was planning to relocate in Crewe yet - but would make sure everyone is aware when it does.

Select Fashion relocated from Market Street to the former Ethel Austin unit on Earle Street in 2015.
