Male driver in hospital with 'serious' injuries following two-vehicle collision on bypass

A driver of a Vauxhall Corsa was taken to Leighton Hospital with serious injuries  following the A534 Haslington Bypass collision (Nub News).

A male driver is currently in hospital with "serious" injuries, following a two-vehicle collision on a bypass in Haslington.

On Tuesday 25 July, Cheshire Police officers were called to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the A534 Haslington Bypass

At around 7.12pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a Vauxhall Insignia had collided with a Vauxhall Corsa.

The Haslington Bypass was closed between Crewe Green Roundabout and Maw Green Road, and has since reopened (Nub News).

The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was taken to Leighton Hospital with injuries believed to be serious.

Officers are currently appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the collision.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7.12pm on Tuesday 25 July police were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A534 Haslington bypass.

"The collision involved a Vauxhall Insignia and a Vauxhall Corsa.

Cheshire Police officers are currently appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the A534 Haslington Bypass collision (Nub News).

"The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was taken to hospital with injuries which are believed to be serious.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police should contact Cheshire Police on 101, or via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 1605155."
