As part of the expansion plans, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Finance Team Leader to join our team. This role will encompass managing the sales ledger, and purchase ledger for two businesses, and providing valuable support to the Finance Controller.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the sales ledger operations, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all sales transactions.

• Supervise the purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations for two businesses.

• Work closely with the Finance Controller to prepare financial reports, including month-end and year-end statements, to support the decision-making process.

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.

• Monitor and improve internal control processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient solutions to streamline financial operations.

• Conduct regular reviews and analyses of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by the Finance Controller.

Product Support Assistant - Construction Industry

30,000 - £35,000 per annum

There's an exciting opportunity with a UK leader specialising in construction.

The client based in Sandbach is actively looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Technical Support Assistant, with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in an engineering. They will have sound knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and English - preferably to A' level standard.

Proven experience in Microsoft Office software, Excel and Word and also have the ability to interpret technical drawings and data.

What will you be doing?

* Technical support queries for all of their product range.

* Enquiries on their lifting products with support from the Technical Manager.

* Dimensional checks on safety critical products.

* Arranging routine lab and test house procedures.

* Maintaining technical files for all products.

* Ensuring suppliers test data is up to date and stored correctly.

* Assist on assessment of product technical data, accuracy and relevance of all our literature.

* Routine product compatibility checks.

* Maintain quality records within QMS and support Technical Manager with audits. Training will be provided.

* Producing Declarations of Conformity (test certs) for loops, and shackles.

Maths Teacher

 £28,000 - £38,810 per annum

 Academics Ltd are working with a school in Sandbach who wish to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Maths to join their well-established and high achieving team of specialists.

The role would start in January 2024 and will be a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to inspire a love of learning and teach creatively and will also be expected to make a contribution to the extensive extra-curricular life of the school.

An ability to teach A-level is desirable. The school also has a well-established and supportive ECT programme.
