Man, 25, arrested for sexual assault outside South Cheshire asylum hotel

Cheshire Police are investigating the sexual assault of a teenage girl, which occurred outside an asylum hotel on Nantwich Road, Crewe on Wednesday 24 September (Ryan Parker).

Cheshire Police are investigating the sexual assault of a teenage girl, which occurred outside an asylum hotel in Crewe on Wednesday 24 September.

Around 6pm, officers attended The Royal Hotel, Nantwich Road, and arrested a 25-year-old man 20 minutes later in connection with the incident.

The man remains in police custody at this time.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing, with the incident recorded and circulating on social media.

The footage appears to show the man slapping the teenager twice, including on her bottom.

Around 6pm on September 24, Cheshire Police attended The Royal Hotel, Nantwich Road, and arrested a 25-year-old man 20 minutes later in connection with the incident (Cheshire Police).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "We are working hard to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and officers are in the area to provide reassurance to the local community.

"Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 2182325.

"Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
