Man charged following vehicle search on Sandbach Motorway Services

Police from the Roads and Crime Unit have charged a man with drug offences.

At around 12.15pm on Wednesday 28 August, officers stopped a grey Mitsubishi Shogun on the Sandbach Motorway Services that had been travelling on the M6.

Officers conducted a search of the car and discovered a number of items, resulting in the arrest of a man on suspicion of drugs offences.

Following questioning, Mark Danson since been charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs (amphetamine).

Danson, 41, of Beatrice Avenue, Burnley, is due to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today (Thursday 29th August).
