Motorbikers from the Royal British Legion's Bikers branch will ride into Sandbach this weekend to launch the town's annual Poppy Appeal.

Some of the riders are ex-service personnel but many more just want to support the Royal British Legion through the Riders Branch.

The event takes place at Sandbach War Memorial at 1.45 pm on Saturday (October 28th).

A short service will be held at the War Memorial and anyone is invited to attend the event.

Last year, the Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, Lady Redmond MBE, along with the then Deputy Mayor of Cheshire East, Cllr Rod Fletcher, the Sandbach branch of the Royal British Legion and the Mayor of Sandbach, laid wreaths at the War Memorial as we revealed here

See you there!
