Popular milkshake and coffee shop has applied for permission to serve alcohol

A dessert and coffee shop near Sandbach which was opened a year ago this month has applied for permission to serve alcohol as well.

Holmes Sweet Home in Holmes Chapel has applied to Cheshire East Council for a premises licence to sell alcohol Monday to Sunday from 10 am until 11 pm both on and off the premises.

Residents have until June 12th to make representations to Cheshire East about the application for the London Road business. 

Holmes Sweet Home offers 'a space for people of all ages to have a coffee or a milkshake and a sweet treat'. 

Part of the application reads: "Notice is hereby given that we, STEVEDOTLUIS Limited have applied on 15/05/2023 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as Holmes Sweet Home, 34 London Road, Holmes Chapel, CW4 7AJ for a premises licence to provide the following licensable activities: Supply of alcohol both on and off the premises over a maximum duration of Monday to Sunday 10:00 to 23:00."
