A Sandbach resident is getting ready to open his first shop inside the town's indoor market.

Artisan butcher, Lee Ashcroft, is opening The Butcher's Blade inside Sandbach Market Hall on Saturday (February 10th) at 9 am.

The 38-year-old, who went to Sandbach School and has worked in Holmes Chapel as a butcher for many years, has taken over the stall which used to belong to Will's Butchers who has retired.

Lee will be selling a range of meat products, including an assortment of steaks, roasting joints, everyday staples, and oven-ready ranges.

And on Saturday, customers will get a chance to try some of his work when sample food and fizz will be available at the launch event.

He said: "The response so far has been amazing. I've always wanted to own my own shop and here I am. Please come along on Saturday and try our samples."

The Butcher's Blade will be open from 9 am until 2 pm for the opening this weekend.

Sandbach Nub News told here how Will and Karen Shingler who ran Will's Butchers for many years, have taken early retirement.

To help you make the best choices, we will offer samples for you to try before you buy. And to celebrate our first day of business, we will serve a glass of Fizz to all our customers.

We are committed to providing the best quality meat products and excellent customer service. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at The Butchers Blade Unit A Market Hall, Sandbach.
