Two people taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on M6 near Sandbach

Firefighters from Sandbach, Alsager and Crewe went to a multi-vehicle crash on the M6 last night (Wednesday).
The crews were called to the accident at Junction 16 at 10.45 pm.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A road traffic collision involving two heavy goods vehicles and a car was attended by fire crews.
"Firefighters made the vehicles safe. Two casualties, in the care of the paramedics, were taken to hospital as a precaution."
