A new family-run "luxury" tanning shop operated by a local mother and daughter from Sandbach opened today (November 9th).

Bronz'd Tanning Studio, Victoria Street, opened at 10am with customers set to enjoy free Prosecco and more.

Co-owned by Sam and Ruby Gloag, from Sandbach, the new business offers lay-down and stand-up sun beds, along with tanning creams and shots.

Bronz'd Tanning Studio, Victoria Street, opens at 10am on Saturday 9 November, with customers set to enjoy free Prosecco and more (Nub News).

Co-owner, Sam, told Nub News: "This is a mother and daughter business. Ruby is quite entrepreneurial and has always wanted to work for herself, dabbling with other things in the past.

"She is currently doing an apprenticeship in digital marketing, but because she wanted to run her own business, it was felt a tanning salon would be enjoyable for her.

"Ruby can also use her marketing expertise to promote the business and it was felt there was a gap in the market in Crewe.

"Despite there being other sun bed salons in Crewe, we feel this is a more luxurious, spa-like facility for people to enjoy.

"Initially, Bronz'd will offer a combination of lay-down and stand-up sun beds. We are purely focusing on sun beds, not offering any beauty treatments.

"We have gone for brand new, state-of-the-art, bluetooth-connected sun beds.

"Here, we also offer creams and tanning shots to help enhance the tanning experience."

Sam and Ruby chose Victoria Street for their new tanning shop, feeling it was an "up and coming" area of the town centre.

Bronz'd Tanning Studio is located in-between Cabelo salon, which recently opened, and the old Victoria pub, which is set to be developed in the "near future."

Sam said: "I had a wander around Crewe town centre, taking a look at all the empty units and reached out to the owners of them.

"To be fair, the really central ones had very high rental rates. This unit is was a great price and adjacent to a popular salon, now a staple of the local community.

"This end of Victoria Street is definitely an up and coming area. The old Victoria pub is set to be developed in the near future with that project in its early stages.

Bronz'd Tanning Studio and Cabelo each take up one half of the former Mr Pizza Italian restuarant (Ryan Parker).

"All of these properties are owned by the same landlord, the owner of Victoria Street Dental Practise, and it is good to see them all being renovated in time."

Sam and Ruby believe Bronz'd Tanning Studio will be the "best' tanning facility across the entire town.

Ruby added: "As part of our market research, we went around all of the local tanning shops, finding issues with each one.

"We feel Bronz'd has plugged all of those gaps. We are going to offer a service where you come in, enjoy clean sun beds, have all the after-care projects, all on brand new beds and tubes.

"This is a totally premium service where we can guarantee our customers will be satisfied.

Bronz'd Tanning Studio is open 10am to 8pm (Monday to Saturday) and 10am to 5pm (Sunday) (Bronz'd).

"Please come and give Bronz'd a try and enjoy our free Prosecco, along with other freebies for our official opening on 9 November."

Bronz'd Tanning Studio is open 10am to 8pm (Monday to Saturday) and 10am to 5pm (Sunday).
