A new Sandbach cocktail and burger bar has finally opened and its owners are hoping to bring a touch of sunshine to the town.

Bunita is a play on the Spanish word 'bonita' which means pretty or cute in Spanish and Portuguese.

The business is owned by Phillip Bebbington and Yosleydy Lopez, who also own nearby Cubar in Sandbach.

They plan to offer the town a new style of eating along with cocktails and a fun place to eat and drink.

Building work and changes to the building, in Congleton Road next to Burnell's, delayed the opening but now the new eaterie is up and running.

Phillip said: "We are using staff across both our venues and will be offering a touch of America and other countries at Bunita.

"It's burgers with a twist and cocktails."

Bunita is open Wednesdays to Sundays and has an extensive food and cocktail menu.
