The Role

Nub News is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic telesales executive to actively cold call prospective customers (B2B) to offer the benefits of sponsorship packages with Nub News.

The sales executives report to the Sales Director and will be a key part of the commercial growth.

Nub News is a ground-breaking online local newspaper for towns across the United Kingdom.

Our mission is to put "your town in your pocket" - we aim to make local news easily accessible on all devices, particularly mobile, without intrusive pop-up advertising, enforced surveys or clickbait.

We will ensure that our content remains truly local. Providing local news, community news, what's on, local business listings, classifieds, jobs, property and obituaries - all the staples of a good local newspaper.

You will be dealing with customer service queries, logging sales data in a variety of computer systems, creating and maintaining a pipeline of future customers through follow up calls and referrals and achieving basic KPI's such as number of dials, time spent on the phone and sales gained.

We are unlike other local newspapers and we are revolutionising the industry. This is a superb career opportunity in a fast-growing company.
