There is one week remaining for Alsager residents to have their say on Police and Crime Commissioner John Dwyer's refreshed Police and Crime Plan.

The Commissioner would like to hear local residents' opinions to ensure the Plan accurately reflects their priorities for policing and crime across Cheshire.

The survey will close at midday on Wednesday 28 September 2022 and you can have your say at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/cpacp2022

The refreshed Plan highlights what has been achieved since the original Plan was published and is based on feedback received from the public over the last year. It continues to focus on six key priorities, which are:

  • Prevent and tackle crime
  • Make Cheshire's roads safer
  • Deliver justice for victims of crime
  • Protect vulnerable and at-risk people
  • Improve public confidence in policing
  • Modernise our police service

The Commissioner is inviting Cheshire's residents to have their say on the refreshed plan and outline to issues that they believe require focus to make the county even safer.

Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, John Dwyer, said:

"I would like to encourage the people of Cheshire to get involved with my survey and share their opinions on the refreshed Plan. I committed to refreshing the Plan in order to ensure it remains an accurate reflection of the public's policing priorities, which is why I am keen to hear residents' opinions."

"An integral part of my role is to ensure Cheshire Constabulary is providing the public with the level of service that they expect. The best way to do this is for me to hear your expectations and requirements directly and reflect these in the Plan."

"Thank you everyone who has taken the time to fill in the survey so far and I am hoping many more residents will share their views with me over the next week."
