SANDBACH Town Council says it still has grants it wants to give to community organisations including cash to help out those hit by Covid-19.

The authority's Community Grants budget is still open for applications for funding from groups and organisations in town.

"If you are a Sandbach based group looking to fund a new project that fits our funding criteria, please consider applying," states the council.

There is also funding available for Covid-19 Grants and the town council is inviting community groups and organisations who are supporting Sandbach residents through the pandemic to apply.

Decisions will be made at the next finance policy and governance meeting on November 12.

The deadline for applications is October 29.
