Park group in the Elworth area of Sandbach holds its annual general meeting

Do you live in the Elworth ward of Sandbach and are you interested in helping support a community park group?
The Friends of Elworth Park held their annual general meeting last night (Thursday) at 7pm.
The meeting took place at Elworth Methodist Church and matters on the agenda include the continuation of the group, election of officers and future proposals.
The meeting is open to anyone in the local area.
A spokesperson said: "It's been a few years since the group worked together to keep the park tidy, do jobs and put in events."
