Police and paramedics went to Hightown in Sandbach just before lunchtime after a driver is believed to have suffered a medical episode.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "At 11.55pm, police were notified by ambulance that a driver was believed to have had a medical episode and had stopped their vehicle in Hightown, Sandbach.

"Paramedics transported them to hospital and police assisted with traffic management while the vehicle was moved."
