Icy conditions has led to several accidents today (Thursday) including a three vehicle collision near Holmes Chapel.

Police said they were called at 7.14 am today (2 January) to a three vehicle collision in Macclesfield Road, Twemlow Green, near the viaduct.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "Two cars had collided and a car further down the road was also involved in a one vehicle collision. No one is thought to have been injured."
