Police have charged an eighth man following a disturbance at a Middlewich address.

James McPhee, 19, from Morningside Road, Morningside has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life, criminal damage and violent disorder. He will appear at Chester Crown Court today (15 September).

The rest are next due to appear at Chester Crown Court on 12 October.

Seven men have been charged and an eighth remains in police custody following a disturbance at an address in Middlewich over the weekend.

Nathaniel Lowe, 34, from Kirkhill Road, Newarthill, Motherwell was charged with two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

James Lowe, 29, from Shankley Drive, Morningside, Newmans was charged with charged with violent disorder, two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

Nathaniel Lowe, 58, of the same address in Morningside was charged with violent disorder, two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 17-year-old boy who can't be named for legal reasons was charged with violent disorder, two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

John McPhee, 30, Shaws Road, Larkhall was charged with violent disorder, two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

Billy McPhee, 52, from Shaws Road, Larkhall was charged with violent disorder, two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

William McPhee, 26, from Morningside Road, Morningside, Newmans was charged with violent disorder, two counts of criminal damage, assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 26-year-old man remains in police custody.

The charges relate to an incident at an address in Holmes Chapel Road on Saturday (12 September).
