A couple who both live in a Sandbach care home celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary in style with a romantic meal.

The couple, Colin and Gill both live at Elworth Grange Care Home and enjoyed a special meal cooked for them at the Booth Lane home, bringing back memories of their honeymoon to Nice in France.

"They had a wonderful day and enjoyed a lovely meal our garden room. We shared a few stories because I was also celebrating my wedding anniversary that day."

Sandbach Nub News wishes Colin and Gill, from the Rochdale area, who were married in 1955, many more happy years to come.
