Sandbach Fire Station flew its flag at half-mast today (Wednesday) and rung the memorial bell for a former firefighter.

The fire station released a post on social media saying it was doing so as a mark of respect for Ronald Johnson, a former Sandbach firefighter, who sadly passed away on March 14th.

"Our memorial bell has been rung in his memory and to acknowledge his service to the Sandbach community," said the post.
