Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Thursday, April 4th

The Cheshire Cheese pub in Wheelock has its weekly quiz night from 8.30 pm. Pie, chips, gravy and a pint for £10.99 followed by the quiz at 8.30pm. Free entry with a £30 bar tab up for grabs, as well as many more prizes.

Friday, April 5th

Still looking for some Easter adventures? The Easter Trail at Little Moreton Hall runs until next Sunday (14th April) from 10:30 am until 4pm.

Booking is not required but admission fees apply. Complete all the activities to claim your chocolate prize. Choose from either a dairy or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg - both are made from Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa.

Do you like Italian food? SiSi Italian, which launched recently, see our story here, has its weekly slot at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 5 pm until 8 pm.

Saturday, April 6th

It's Rode Hall Farmer's Market in nearby Scholar Green from 9 am until 1.30 pm. Lots of wonderful seasonal food stalls to choose from including fresh rhubarb, purple spouting broccoli and cured meats. In the craft barn there will be a choice of hand made crafts including soaps, leather work and mosaics and Dawson Dean will be playing live. The courtyard kitchen will be open selling lunches, soups, homemade cakes and drinks.

In nearby Holmes Chapel, Sam Dale & Sons has a 'felting workshop' from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm. The cost is £35 person

Equipment provided for the workshop includes felting pad, needles/holders, wool in a rainbow of colours and glue for fixing any embellishments. Starter kits will be available to purchase on the day or online. Details in our What's On section here

Fancy some football? Sandbach United are playing Abbey Hulton United at home with a 3 pm kick-off. Go along and support your local team.

Sunday, April 7th

The Swan & Chequers has two great events the first of which is its live jazz event starting at 4 pm. 'John's Bishop Band' play from Manchester are live! Go along and see them - the event is free.

Later on, it's The Swan & Chequers' weekly Sunday night starting at 7 pm. Go along and join in!
