A Sandbach hair salon which opened just over a year ago has won two prestigious awards.

'That Hair Salon' in Queen's Drive run by Jo Mellor has won 'Best Salon Team' and 'Best New or Refurbished Salon' in the Salon Awards.

Jo said: "We honestly couldn't be prouder. These awards mean so much because they reflect everything we've worked so hard to build - a beautiful space, an amazing atmosphere and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

"The Best Salon Team award feels especially special to us because as a rent-a-chair salon, every stylist runs their own independent business, yet somehow we've built the most supportive, creative and uplifting team that truly feels like a family.

"The girls couldn't be there to celebrate on the night (and they were so missed) but rest assured, celebrations are definitely coming and if you know this team, you'll know we'll do it our way!

"A huge thank you to our wonderful clients for your love and support - we wouldn't be here without you."

Jo, who lives in Winterley, has been a hairdresser all her life, working in Congleton before setting up a successful mobile hairdressing business.
