Well done to first team captain Jimmy Gore and some of his former team mates and friends from Bridgnorth Rugby Football Club who are cycling round the country in aid of charity.

The cyclists were due to pass through Sandbach today as a half way point on their John O'Groats to Land's End journey which sees them cycling 959 miles in nine days

They have formed the Maul Together fundraising group to raise money for the My Name '5 Doddie Foundation finding a cure for motor neuron disease and the Matt Hampson Foundation.

The latter inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport and through expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice, it helps people with life-changing injuries to get living again.
