Sandbach town centre was alive last night as crowds of people descended on the annual Christmas Market.

The event is organised by Sandbach Town Council and featured more than 100 stalls in Market Square, the High Street and the Market Hall.

The market ran from 3pm until 8pm and featured hand-made or decorated goods and home grown, cooked or reared produce along with Fair Trade wares.

Many shops stayed open late for the occasion and the town was packed with visitors for the occasion.
