Sandbach is getting ready to fly the flag for pride at its annual event this weekend.

Several shops have rainbow colour displays in their windows to mark the big occasion.

Sandbach Pride starts at 10.30 am from The Old Hall following a route along the High Street, through Penda Way crossing Congleton Road and into Sandbach Park.

Sandbach Mayor, Councillor Laura Crane, will officially open the event at 11 am.

Last year's event was an action-packed day as we revealed here and this year's is guaranteed to be the same.

Sandbach Pride runs through until 5 pm in Sandbach Park with a full programme of entertainment from local artists and circus workshops.

See you there!
