A pub manager from Sandbach has scaled the highest mountain in Wales to raise money for mental health.
Emma Bateman, who manages The Military Arms in Congleton Road, and Linda De Sa, Fundraising Manager at Visyon, climbed the 3,560 ft peak to raise money for the charity.
Emma set a target of £500 but has smashed that, raising £1,371 through her JustGiving page here and money from customers at the popular pub and cash is still coming in for Visyon.
The charity recently moved to a new office in Forge Street, Crewe, offering counselling sessions to children and teenagers.
Emma said on Social Media: "Thank you so much to every single person who has supported this event, words cannot explain how grateful we all are."
Emma's friend Linda added: "We set off at 2am from the registration point in Llanberis and reached the summit around 5:30am in time to watch the sunrise.
"The walk down seemed to fly by and we were sat celebrating with breakfast by 8:30am.
"It was steeper than I expecting in some parts but the team kept each other going and we were all able to walk at our own pace. I remember bursting into tears when I could see the summit, it was a mix of all kinds of emotions but I felt very proud."
Emma and Linda took on the challenge with members of the public.
