A popular Sandbach pub and entertainment venue has changed its name and put food back on the menu.
DV8 in High Street announced in September here it was closing its kitchen but now the pub has announced it's gone back to a new version of its old name and has a new look.
And today (Thursday) the historic pub, dating back to 1634 and where Dick Turpin reputedly stayed, has been renamed The Black Bear Lodge.
The pub, with a thatched roof and a black bear on the top, was previously called the Black Bear before becoming DV8.
A post on Social Media said: "The Life & Soul Group (Rumba, Crazy Moose, Arriba) and Reubens BBQ have collaborated on a brand new look for The Black Bear.
"As of Thursday 20th of June,- we have the following exciting things to look forward to - we will be known as 'Black Bear Lodge', Reubens kitchen takeover, new cocktail menu and refreshed decor throughout.
"If you're not familiar with Reubens, they're bringing their awesome burgers, smoked brisket, pulled pork, wings and BBQ ribs to Sandbach.
"The usual Friday and Saturday night DJ sets will continue! We can't wait to bring something new to the venue and town."
The Black Bear Lodge's opening times from today (June 20th) are: Wednesday – Friday open 5 pm with food from 5 pm until 9 pm. Saturdays open from 12 noon with food from 12 noon until 8 pm.
