Sandbach High School & Sixth Form College is celebrating the achievements of its Year 13 students, who have once again secured an impressive set of results in A level and Level 3 vocational qualifications.

This year's outcomes reflect the commitment, resilience and ambition shown by our students throughout their studies.

In A-level qualifications, 24 per cent of grades were awarded at A*-A, while more than half (52 per cent) were awarded at A* to B.

Sandbach High School & Sixth Form College said it is "equally proud" of the success achieved across vocational programmes, where an outstanding 81 per cent of entries were awarded Distinction* or Distinction grades.

There have been many remarkable individual achievements this year.

Aidan H achieved three A* grades and an A grade and will progress to the University of Oxford to study History.

Jana A secured three A* grades and will study Law at the University of Sheffield.

Elizabeth A achieved three A* grades and an A grade and has earned a place to study Mathematics at Durham University.

Charlotte D achieved an A*, two A grades and a B grade and will go on to study Veterinary Science at the University of Liverpool.

Alice J achieved three A* grades and an A grade to study Physics at Lancaster University.

Congratulations also go to Jasmine M who, after returning for an additional year of study, has successfully secured a place to study Medicine at the University of Sheffield.

Sandbach High School & Sixth Form College says it would like to recognise the "outstanding achievements" of students who attained at least three A grades or equivalent across their qualifications: Simrah C, Maria R, Ashleigh D, Eleanor T and Amelia N.

As a result of their hard work and success, its students are progressing to a wide range of exciting destinations and career pathways.

University courses include Nursing at the University of Liverpool, Education at the University of Manchester, Politics at the University of Warwick and Architecture at the University of Warwick.

A number of students have also secured apprenticeship opportunities, including degree apprenticeships, in sectors such as business, travel, accountancy and policing.
