Sandbach town centre fell silent for the annual Remembrance Parade as crowds turned out to honour the courage and sacrifice those serving our country have made.

The town was treated to two famous bands as Roberts Bakery Band led the procession from Westfields, Cheshire East's HQ to the War Memorial while Lions Brass Band played in Market Square.

Sandbach Nub News was there to capture the event and nearly two weeks on the town is still remembering the day.

Here we capture some of the lovely moments in a photo collage of the parade.

Crowds lined Middlewich Road to watch the long parade of people who included dignatories, the Freemasons, the police, service cadets, scouts, brownies and rainbows.

President of the Sandbach branch of the Royal British Legion, Tom Price-Jones said a few words along with the Rev David Ottley to the large gathered crowd.

Wreaths were laid at the memorial by a number of dignatories including Sandbach Mayor Councillor Geraint Price-Jones.
