The sun shone and runners turned out in force for this year's annual Sandbach 10K road race, including those from the "Home Run Club" in Alsager.

Members of the Alsager group travelled to nearby Sandbach to take part in the annual road race on Sunday (19 July).

The running club said on Social Media: "Great run out with the squad."

"Home Run Club", is a community running group designed to bring people together through movement, conversation, and good food, was set up by Home Coffee & Studio, The Vault and Kidsgrove's The Fitness Collab as we revealed here .

Sandbach 10K, which starts and finishes from Sandbach Rugby Club, event raises money for charity every year and this year the chosen charity was East Cheshire Deaf Children's Society.
