Sandbach: Travel warning as Storm Eunice gathers strength

Cheshire Police urged people not to travel after an amber weather warning was issued by the Met Office.

Storm Eunice is gathering strength in Cheshire East and police are urging motorists and pedestrians to take extra care.

A spokesman said: "If you ð—®ð—¯ð˜€ð—¼ð—¹ð˜‚ð˜ð—²ð—¹ð˜† ð—µð—®ð˜ƒð—² ð˜ð—¼ ð—¯ð—² ð—¼ð˜‚ð˜, ð—½ð—¹ð—²ð—®ð˜€ð—² ð˜ð—®ð—¸ð—² ð˜ð—®ð—¸ð—² ð—°ð—®ð—¿ð—².

"If you encounter debris on the road, contact the council's highways department .

"If you lose power, ring 105 to let your network operator (not supplier) know - very useful information here here.

"Only call 999 for us, or Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service or North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust if there's a risk of harm or worse - ð˜„ð—² ð—»ð—²ð—²ð—± ð—¼ð˜‚ð—¿ ð—¹ð—¶ð—»ð—²ð˜€ ð—°ð—¹ð—²ð—®ð—¿ to handle emergencies.
