An organisation set up to help children and young people with disabilities is working with Sandbach United Football Club.

A group of children from the Central Cheshire Buddy Scheme have been donated balls, bibs and cones by Sandbach United Football Club.

And at the weekend, despite the bad weather, the children enjoyed, the club's Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Liz Clark, worked with the children using their new equipment.

Now the club and Central Cheshire Buddy Scheme are working towards an art and craft project to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The art will be displayed at Brereton Heath Country Park near Sandbach and other parks and the scheme is looking for funding to support this project.

They can be contacted by email on [email protected]
