Sandbach Leisure Centre has reopened this afternoon - thanks to workmen making temporary repairs to the roof following storm damage.
The leisure centre, on Middlewich Road which is attached to Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College, was forced to close on Friday afternoon after part of the roof blew off.
The centre was due to stage an open day on Saturday but due to the damage from Storm Eunice had to cancel the event.
Now the centre has reopened its doors - much to the delight of leisure centre users.
Dominic Crisp Head of Leisure Operations at Everybody Sport and Recreation said: "We're happy to confirm that Sandbach Leisure Centre will re-open today (Tuesday) from 3.30pm onwards.
"Now the high winds have subsided its allowed access to the roof for property maintenance team to assess the extent of the damage, make some temporary repairs as well as make the area safe.
"We would like to thank all of our members and regular users of the facility for their patience and understanding over the past few days".
