Sandbach United's hopes of being promoted have been dashed again after they lost to Abbey Hey yesterday (Saturday) in the semi-final of the play-offs.
Last year they got through to the final but yesterday they lost 3-1 to Abbey Hey at home in Hind Heath Road.
