A Sandbach business has closed its shop premises to continue with its on-line sales.

Sandbach Party Supplies opened its Welles Street shop nearly three years ago but has decided to revert to its on-line sales.

Partners Judy Henson and Stacey Rowley launched Sandbach Party Supplies after Judy lost her job with a sports company in Manchester during COVID.

Both had always loved giving children's parties and helping others organise and run parties due to the "feel-good" factor parties provide as we revealed here

The Welles Street shop closed on Saturday (April 20th) to allow more time to work on their on-line business here

"It's nothing to do with rising rental costs or incoming car park charges, footfall, etc. It's purely to free up more of my own time so that I can continue to run the business remotely and make it even more successful," said Judy on their Facebook page here.

"The lease contract was due for renewal after nearly three years since opening, so it makes perfect sense to use this opportunity to take the business forward in a new direction.

"When myself and Stacey first started the business in Covid lockdown, we never planned it to get so big and grow so much, we certainly didn't expect to be running a shop premises.

"It has been a roller coaster ride and so much fun along the way, I honestly can't thank everyone enough for the support over the years.

"I will be continuing to run the business through the website, selling the same party supplies, balloons and hire packages.

"I'll even be able to offer a local delivery service now and have more availability for bookings. So more than ever, please continue to support in any way you can.

Of course it's an upsetting and emotional chapter to close on, it's been my life 24/7 for all these years but I've realised how amazing our customer base is and the potential to grow in a different way, it will be exciting I'm sure."

Sandbach Nub News wishes Sandbach Party Supplies, whose Facebook page is here good luck in their new direction and wishes them many more happy years to come.
