Sandbach's award-winning Foden's Band have just struck a new chord with another organisation which will literally help put them on the map worldwide with new funding.

The talented group of musicians, who were crowned the 2021 National Champions at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, have won a bid with the People's Postcode Trust.

Foden's Band has announced that they have been successful in an application to the 'People's Postcode Trust' to buy fixed recording and streaming equipment which will allow them to stream rehearsals and concerts.

Foden's spokesperson, Mark Wilkinson said: "We are extremely grateful to the 'People's Postcode Trust' for accepting our application which allows us to stream rehearsals and concerts as well as to record as a preparation aid for concerts and contests.

"It's also great news for both our Junior and Youth Bands who will be able to access the equipment so that parents can watch rehearsals and performances from the comfort of their home.

"The award will allow us to increase our online presence around the world as well as to produce new and exciting content."
