Elworth Grange care home in Sandbach, operated by Ideal Carehomes, has been rated 'Good' by healthcare standards inspectors, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Opened in 2020, Elworth Grange has been rated 'Good' in all key lines of enquiry - safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led'.

Elworth Grange in Booth Lane, Sandbach is a residential and dementia care home, operated by Ideal Carehomes. All 66 bedrooms are en-suite with a wet room and shower

During the visit, CQC inspectors observed the residents' experiences in the home. They spoke to several residents, their families, and staff members, seeking feedback on the lifestyle the care home offers.

In the resulting report from the CQC, residents living at Elworth Grange said they 'felt safe' in the home, stating that they consider the staff to be 'kind and caring'. In a recent review, one resident said Elworth Grange has 'a real homely feel'.

The resident added: "I consider this to be a haven. A very beautiful home, staff work extremely hard to care for residents. The chef has a flair for cooking and a passion to please us all."

After observing interactions between staff members and residents, the CQC inspectors noted that the care at Elworth Grange was 'person-centred', holding 'regular residents' meetings where their views could be expressed and acted upon'.

A resident told the inspectors: "There is always someone to help me. The staff are very caring."

Thrilled with the outcome of the inspection, the Home Manager at Elworth Grange, John Craig, said: 'I am so proud of everyone who has contributed to this fantastic CQC report.

"I'd like to especially thank our dedicated team at Elworth Grange for continuously providing the very best person-centred care, and our wonderful residents and their loved ones for their unwavering support."
